Day 4: Rough and Windy

Sign should have read next 77 miles to be accurate! What I said about how Texas knows how to do roads... Apparently they just do that by the state line to keep up appearances! Rough roads plus wind in my face made for an extremely long day. But at least the temperature was perfect! First day I got to wear shorts.


This day needed lots of breaks! Wind and rough roads dropped my average mph from 16 to 12 (maybe less). iPod + Weezy Baby is quite possibly the only way I made it through the day without going completely nuts!


Andrew's Papa put me up for the night. I look tired and believe me I'm more tired than I look!



Day 4: DONE!!! Thank goodness! Wind and rough roads are not my friends... 3 miles less than yesterday but took 90 more minutes!

My 11 year old cousin has been progressively losing motor function (can no longer walk or talk) for the last 2 years and has no diagnosis. Needs help to get to the MAYO clinic and hopefully get some answers!
